For over a decade, the America's Most Trusted® study has been a go-to resource for brands looking to understand how important trust is in shaping consumer choices. Each year, the results of this study are highly anticipated by both consumers and brand managers, with updates released every January.

So, what does brand trust really mean? It’s all about customers’ confidence in an insulation brand’s ability to deliver on its promises. 2025 America’s Most Trusted Insulation

According to the Lifestory Research 2025 America’s Most Trusted® Insulation Study, Owens Corning has emerged as the most trusted brand for insulation among consumers. With a Net Trust Quotient Score of 112.1, Owens Corning topped the list of popular insulation brands, showcasing its strong reputation in the market. In the last six years of this study, consumers have rated Owens Corning as the most trusted insulation brand five times, making it a select brand that holds brand trust in the minds of the consumers it serves.

The study focused on how consumers plan to replace or install insulation and invited them to share their thoughts on various brands. Brands that didn’t meet the necessary recognition and feedback levels were excluded from the rankings. To qualify, a brand needed to receive enough survey responses to ensure a 95% confidence level, with no more than a 3% margin of error. This careful approach ensures that the results accurately reflect the opinions of the surveyed population regarding the insulation brands evaluated.

The ranking is based on feedback from 4,342 individuals surveyed across the United States in the past year. Following Owens Corning, the most trusted home insulation brands included Rockwool, Johns Manville, CertainTeed, Dow, and BASF. These brands are recognized nationally by consumers actively shopping for home insulation.
