2025 America’s Most Trusted Carpet

The Lifestory Research 2025 America’s Most Trusted® Carpet Study identified Stainmaster as the most trusted brand among consumers considering carpet flooring, achieving an impressive Net Trust Quotient Score of 109.7. Stainmaster has consistently ranked at the top of this study year after year, reflecting strong consumer confidence in the brand. For six years, Stainmaster has been rated as the most trusted carpet brand in the annual study.

The final rankings included well-known brands that resonate with people actively shopping for carpet. The Lifestory Research 2025 America’s Most Trusted® Carpet ranking is based on insights from 3,840 consumers surveyed across the United States over the past year. Alongside Stainmaster, the most trusted brands included Shaw, Mohawk, Anderson Tuftex, DreamWeaver, Mannington, and Fabrica.

To qualify for the final ranking, carpet brands needed to demonstrate a certain level of brand awareness. Those with low awareness or insufficient data were excluded. This rigorous statistical approach ensures that the opinions reflected in the study accurately represent the views of the surveyed population regarding the carpet brands evaluated.
